Snacks for Kids in Community School is an important initiative spearheaded by Southeast Minnesota Food Rescue and Redistribution: Equity Eats Program. This program is dedicated to providing fresh, nutritious snacks to children facing barriers to accessing healthy food in our community.

Many local children struggle with limited access to fresh fruits and vegetables, which are crucial for their growth and development. To address this issue, we are partnering with local farmers to source fresh produce and deliver it directly to those in need. However, to make this vision a reality, we need your support.

How You Can Help: Please make a donation, or offer to sponsor a specific distribution today. This will allow us to purchase additional fresh produce and cover logistical costs. Every dollar helps us to ensure that more children receive the nutritious food they deserve.

Spread the Word: Share our mission with friends, family, and colleagues. The more people know about our program, the greater the impact we can make together.

Thank you in advance for your support and sposorshipa minute to write an introduction that is short, sweet, and to the point.

PREVENTING FOOD WASTE

Imagine yourself hungry. Your stomach growls, and your head feels light. You don't know where your next meal is coming from.

For many people in Southern MN communities, this is a reality every day. They go to bed hungry and wake up hungry, and they don't know where they will find their next meal.

That's where Southeast Minnesota Food Rescue and Redistribution and our partners come in. We provide food to families in need in our community. We distribute food to over 500 families, 25 neighborhoods, and satellite food pantries.

Your donation to SE MN Food Rescue and Redistribution will help us to expand and provide food to people in need. A portion of every dollar you donate will help us to provide weekly food crates and meals.

This year, we are facing a greater need than ever before. Due to the rising cost of food and gas, more and more people are struggling to put food on the table.
